Welcome to an economic transformation
A sustainable economy meets everyone's needs within the ecological limits of the planet.
Currently, our economic system is driving a whole host of social, environmental, and economic crises.

We're witnessing rising levels of inequality, the capture of political processes by private interests, declining levels of social trust, the polarization of politics, climate change, biodiversity loss, soil degradation, a global obesity epidemic, and the list goes on.

It's not a coincidence that all of these crises are happening at the same time. They have a common cause: the relentless pursuit of private financial gain. The global economy is currently set-up for the purpose of making business owners and investors rich. And it does that very well. However, it is not fit for the purpose of meeting everyone's needs within the ecological limits of the planet.

Luckily, we don't have to have a profit-driven economy. There are alternatives. We can shift the economy away from institutions that prioritize private wealth to those that are designed to deliver social and environmental wellbeing.
In fact, a growing number of initiatives are working to do just that.
Welcome to an economic transformation!
